Set against the rolling hills and storybook charm of the English countryside, this whimsical Cotswolds wedding was a celebration of romance, imagination and expressive floral design. Wild at Heart created an enchanting floral landscape that felt both playful and refined, layering Cotswolds wedding flowers with texture, colour and movement to bring the setting to life. Inspired by the natural beauty of the surroundings and a sense of quiet magic, the florals unfolded like a dream, transforming the space into a wonderland where every detail felt intentional, immersive and beautifully considered.
Welcoming the guests to the Orangery for the ceremony were flower beds growing up the steps leading the guests to their seats. The Flower beds were full of tall dancing delphiniums, stocks, delicate ammi, lilac and seasonal wild flowers, creating a whimsical English garden feel.
Dressing the aisle, we placed loose flower beds of peach and lemon roses with touches of blue flowers and plenty of seasonal greenery to create a meadow effect, continuing from the entrance meadow giving the effect its growing into the ceremony backdrop.
Creating the ceremony backdrop were three tall statement columns, placed either side of the windows to emphasise the height and scale of the Orangery. The columns were full of tumbling fresh green foliage, studded with beautiful, peach, soft pink, and lemon roses, mixed with blooming peonies, and a touch of soft blue nigella and clematis, framing the ceremony space and drawing the focus towards the bride and groom.
The Bride and Groom sat on a 'Sweetheart Table' which appeared as if it had been placed in a beautiful wild English garden, with an abundance of flowers running along the front of the table, tumbling down, creating a beautiful and opulent display. Framing the bride and groom were two beautiful statement blue and white ginger jars.
Adorning their table was a collection of blue and white china vases filled with beautiful posies of tulips, roses, and peonies in wonderful and romantic dreamy tones of corals, pinks, yellows and pops of sky blues.
For the guests table, growing from a flower bed of roses, peonies and sweet peas, we built striking custom trees. Entwining up and around the trunk was delicate jasmine trails, growing into a luscious canopy of seasonal foliage embellished with beautiful climbing roses, in yellow, peach and pale pink tones, creating an immersive and exciting display, as if the guests are dining in the garden. Hanging tea lights draped throughout the canopy, bringing a truly magical and dreamy experience to the room.
