Every event begins with an enquiry, but we treat it as the first chapter of the design process. This is where we ask the questions that matter. We’ll talk through the venue, the occasion, guest numbers, timings, and practical details like access and install windows. Just as importantly, we’ll explore your references, your taste, your brand or personal style, and what you want guests to remember. We’ll also discuss whether the brief is for flowers only, or whether you’re looking for a fuller event design approach that includes styling, tablescapes and wider visual direction.
The goal is clarity. Not a generic moodboard, but a sense of narrative and intention that can carry through every detail.
A site visit is where ideas become grounded in reality. We come to the venue to experience the space properly, because scale, proportion and atmosphere can’t be fully understood through a floorplan alone.
We look at sightlines and focal points, consider how guests will move through the room, and take note of natural light, architectural features, ceiling height and access routes. This is also where we assess what the venue needs from design. Some spaces ask to be enhanced delicately. Others can take something bold, sculptural and dramatic. The venue is always part of the conversation.
Where the story begins to take shape
Next, we translate everything we’ve learned into a proposal that brings the vision into focus. This is where our design language becomes tangible, and where the event begins to exist long before it is ever built in a space.
There is something incredibly special about seeing an idea come to life on paper before it exists in reality. Our talented in-house artist creates exquisite, hand-painted artworks for our clients, each one entirely bespoke, capturing the mood, colours and atmosphere of the celebration long before the first stem is placed. They are love letters to the event itself, thoughtful, personal and utterly unique.
This is where our storytelling truly begins. Every proposal is tailored and carefully considered, reflecting not only the design direction but the depth of understanding we build with each client. Alongside the creative vision, we outline the key flowers and styling elements, the structure of the design and a clear budget that reflects the scale and production involved.
Where the vision becomes tangible
For larger or more design-led celebrations, the team creates a sample showcase, a moment where the event begins to step out of imagination and into the physical world.
This stage of the process is particularly special. Fabric swatches are laid side by side, flowers gently placed, tables dressed as though guests were about to arrive. Alongside flowers, the team also explores linens, vessels and pieces from our curated prop hire collection, allowing every element of the setting to be considered together. It allows the design to be refined and perfected with care. The aim is never to rush towards a finished look, but to listen, explore and shape something that feels entirely personal to each client.
From early colour palettes and fabric swatches to painted tablecloths, lighting samples and linen tests, the team meticulously coordinates every detail. Proportion, texture and tone are studied closely, ensuring materials sit harmoniously together and that the design works from every perspective, both across the room and in intimate moments.

We build in layers, often beginning with structural elements and large-scale pieces, then moving into flower placement, styling and the final finishing touches, from carefully placed decorative details to hand-painted rugs and bespoke table linens created by our team, each element adding depth, personality and a sense of artistry to the space.
