Inside The Opening Of Benham Park

We are beyond thrilled to share that Benham Park has officially opened its doors, and we are honoured to be their preferred floristry partner.

After a remarkable three year restoration, this magnificent eighteenth century Georgian estate has been reawakened into one of the most exciting luxury wedding and event venues in the UK. Set within 130 acres of private parkland, just outside London yet entirely secluded, Benham Park has all the grandeur of a historic country house, softened by an atmosphere that feels intimate, romantic and deeply transportive.

For the opening evening, we dressed the house and grounds to showcase its endless potential.

A Grand Floral Welcome

The arrival was designed to feel theatrical from the very first moment.

Outside, vast stone urns were filled with tumbling cascades of white hydrangea, spilling over the edges and down the steps in soft, sculptural clouds. By day, the flowers felt fresh and architectural against the honeyed stone of the house. As evening fell, candlelight and warm uplighting transformed them into something altogether more dramatic, glowing against the columns and creating a sense of ceremony before guests had even stepped inside.

A Georgian House Reawakened

Inside, the beauty of Benham Park revealed itself room by room.

The high ceilings, ornate plasterwork, grand chandeliers and sweeping windows created the most extraordinary backdrop for floristry. We wanted the designs to feel as though they belonged to the house, enhancing the architecture rather than overpowering it.

A statement urn in soft blush, peach and rose tones brought warmth to the entrance, layered with hydrangea, garden roses, foxgloves and natural foliage. Placed beneath the chandelier, it created a beautifully romantic focal point, full of movement and height.

A Table Made For Celebration

For dinner, we dressed a long table in a palette of dusky pink, apricot, cream and deeper copper tones. Low, abundant arrangements ran the length of the table, allowing guests to see across the room while still creating a feeling of richness and intimacy.

Roses, hydrangea, ranunculus and sculptural seasonal stems were layered with warm candlelight, blush glassware and soft linen. The result was elegant but full of life, a table that felt perfectly suited to weddings, private dinners and unforgettable celebrations.

Every detail worked in harmony with the room itself. The florals drew out the warmth of the interiors, while the candlelight softened the grand proportions and brought the whole space to life.

An Evening Of Atmosphere

As night settled over the estate, Benham Park became even more magical.

The house glowed against the deep blue evening sky, reflected in the still water beyond the lawn. Lanterns, candlelight and floral installations framed the entrance, creating a sense of anticipation and romance that carried through the entire evening.

It was a glimpse into what Benham Park can become for each couple, host or brand that steps through its doors. Grand yet personal, historic yet newly alive, and endlessly adaptable for moments that feel completely one of a kind.

The Beginning Of A New Chapter

It was a privilege to flower Benham Park for its opening evening, and to help mark the beginning of this extraordinary new chapter.

We can’t wait to create many more unforgettable moments within Benham’s historic walls, from romantic country house weddings to intimate dinners, spectacular parties and immersive private events.
