For this celebration, our design centred around rich romantic tones of crimson, deep raspberry and soft blush, creating a tablescape that felt both luxurious and warmly inviting. Against the powder blue panelling, gilded detailing and sparkling chandeliers of The Lanesborough’s private dining room, the florals became a reminded heartbeat of colour and movement.
The brief was clear: refined, elegant and deeply romantic. We layered velvety red roses with coral garden roses, blush anemones, tulips and ranunculus in nuanced tonal variations. The result was a palette that moved seamlessly from deep claret to shell pink, vibrant yet harmonious.
Low, abundant centrepieces were arranged in brushed gold vessels to echo the room’s gilded accents. This ensured guests could converse easily across the table while still being immersed in flowers. Each arrangement felt generous and expressive, designed to appear as though it had grown organically across the linen.
Along the fireplace mantel, a dramatic floral installation cascaded asymmetrically, framing the ornate mirror and reflecting candlelight throughout the room. The mirrored backdrop amplified the florals, creating depth and atmosphere without overwhelming the space.

Fine crystal glassware caught the light from tall hurricane candles, while clear charger plates with delicate gold rims complemented the soft champagne linens. A single red rose placed atop each folded napkin added a gesture of theatrical romance, simple yet unforgettable.
Smoked glass votives, polished silver cutlery and elegant printed menus elevated the setting further, ensuring the tablescape felt cohesive from every angle. The balance between florals, candlelight and glass created a sense of intimacy within the grandeur of the room.
