Set on the storied grounds of Ashford Castle in Ireland, this wedding unfolded as a celebration shaped by its surroundings. Framed by landscape and guided by light, the day moved in quiet harmony with its setting, from the softness of afternoon to the glow of evening.
Together with Ashford Castle, the space was carefully composed to evolve as the hours passed. The glass pavilion, positioned against the water and expansive lawns, became a living canvas, shifting in mood and energy as daylight gave way to night. Layered and immersive, the design built gently in atmosphere, creating a celebration that felt both expansive and deeply intimate.
At the church, the floral design set a quietly romantic tone for the day ahead. The stone doorway was framed with abundant, asymmetrical arrangements of soft white roses, hydrangeas and seasonal blossoms, layered with eucalyptus and trailing greenery to echo the surrounding landscape. Inside, the aisle was gently lined with clusters of florals and glass cylinders filled with flickering candlelight, creating a sense of warmth and intimacy against the historic stone interior.
Natural, textural and effortlessly composed, the ceremony flowers felt as though they had grown into the space, offering a serene and elegant beginning to the celebration

The floral design centred around a refined palette of ivory, blush and fresh green, echoing the tones of the surrounding landscape. Garden roses, ranunculus and delicate sweet peas were layered with sculptural hellebore and dancing stems of fritillaria and anemones, creating arrangements that felt abundant yet effortlessly light.
Low, flowing tablescapes ran the length of the dining tables, allowing guests to remain connected while surrounded by florals that felt as though they had grown organically into place. Rich in texture, the compositions balanced tightly formed blooms with airy, transient stems, bringing movement and depth from every angle.
Touches of deeper foliage grounded the palette, introducing contrast and a sense of quiet drama while preserving an overall softness that felt luminous and romantic.

Each place setting was designed with care and precision. Woven rattan chargers introduced warmth and tactility, layered with softly patterned linens edged in deep green. Napkins, finished with tasselled ties, added a subtle sense of occasion, while bespoke stationery in muted sage tones brought a tailored, personal detail to the table.
Hand-blown green glassware caught the light throughout the space, reflecting the landscape beyond and reinforcing the connection between interior and exterior. Patterned lampshades introduced an unexpected softness, casting a warm glow as the light shifted, gently transforming the atmosphere from day to evening.
The result was a setting that felt considered rather than adorned, where every detail contributed to a cohesive and immersive whole.

The pavilion itself was designed to hold both scale and intimacy. A structure that felt generous in its presence, yet refined in its execution. Climbing greenery traced the ironwork overhead, softening the architecture and blurring the boundary between built form and natural surroundings.
As the light shifted across the Irish sky, the space responded. From bright and open to softly atmospheric, then into a warm, candlelit glow, the environment evolved in step with the celebration. Long tapered candles in ivory and deep green punctuated the tables, their flicker mirrored in glass and polished surfaces, creating a sense of quiet movement throughout.
It was a space redefined by atmosphere, where structure, setting and design came together in a composition that felt effortless, yet entirely considered.

This wedding was a reflection of place, atmosphere and intention. A celebration shaped by its surroundings and brought to life through careful composition.
From the first petal placed to the final flicker of candlelight, every detail was considered. A balance of scale and intimacy, of softness and structure, set against one of Ireland’s most iconic landscapes.
A world created, held and remembered.
