A Celebration of Love and Nature. There’s no place like home to have the most intimate, romantic wedding filled with the most special of memories from childhood to marriage. This beautiful garden in Richmond was the perfect backdrop for an English country garden wedding. Filling the marquee with flowers as if they were just picked from the beautiful garden, helping to create something simple yet elegant, delicate, and magical. It was indeed an honour to work with Olivia and Florian, to help create their wedding dreams.
As guests arrived at the marquee, they were greeted by a striking floral column at the entrance—an asymmetrical beauty that seemed to grow right out of the garden. A mix of green and white hydrangeas, delphiniums, dahlias, rose plants, and trailing grasses created an organic and natural display.
To further elevate this magical home, existing urns dotted around the garden were filled with hydrangeas, ivy, jasmine, and fern plants—transforming every corner into a floral wonderland. Flowers cascaded down in a beautiful, overgrown manner, adding an ethereal touch to every corner.
When it was time to dine, the tables were transformed into a garden-inspired dream. Green glass bud vases, along with cream and terracotta ceramic pots, held arrangements of late summer flowers—roses, dahlias, cosmos, Japanese anemones, guelder roses, and, of course, plenty of grasses and herbs. The flowers, in soft tones of white, cream, and green, flowed out of the vases, with trailing foliage that pooled onto the tables, creating an enchanting, overgrown aesthetic.
The union of our founder Nikki’s very special friends, Olivia and Florian was one for the ages—a celebration that felt as timeless and delicate as the flowers that adorned their day. This was a wedding that captured the very essence of love, nature, and home.
