Head of Events

A rare opportunity to work in a varied and exciting role assisting the founder of London’s leading florist and event business.

Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart, founded in 1993, is famous for its opulent and unique style. Our client contracts, events and weddings are truly breath-taking and we bring a vast wealth of experience to make every aspect of site design, landscaping, event creation and floral artistry, original and stunning.

Reporting to: Nikki Tibbles, Founder Wild at Heart, however it will be the responsibility of the Head of Events to manage their own time and the teams. If there are time sensitive tasks, they will be expected to manage time effectively to get these done, and work late if required, to complete the task.

Hours: Full Time, 45 hours and due to the nature of the Events Industry, weekend and evening work is to be expected.

Although our standard office hours are 9am – 6pm, it is expected of the Head of Events to attend events managed by them, which will include weekend and evening work. It is also considered beneficial to make weekly early visits to the Flower Market in New Covent Garden/Nine Elms, to see what flowers are coming into season, develop a strong seasonal flower knowledge, and to build a strong relationship with our suppliers.

Location: Based in our studio in Battersea, London, and occasionally from our store on Weighhouse Street.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling phone and email inquiries, and providing necessary proposals and budgets.
Enquiry Management: Monitor the Events team email inbox, addressing initial inquiries for weddings and events, and ensuring follow-up through to completion in collaboration with the dedicated event manager.
Meetings and Relationship Building: Arrange and attend venue and in-house meetings with potential clients and suppliers, fostering key relationships alongside the director.
Event Coordination: Collaborate with the director and the Events Team on the floral design and style of weddings and events.
Proposal and Budget Creation: Develop client proposals and budgets using Microsoft Excel, managing them through to confirmation.
Event Documentation: Maintain and update event look books.
Team Management: Performance manage a team of three event managers.
Invoicing: Liaise with the accounts team regarding invoicing.
Projections and Planning: Create yearly projections for events and develop new business plans.
Flower Market Visits: Make early morning trips to Covent Garden Flower Market to assist with purchasing flowers and staying current with seasonal availability.
Job Preparation: Create detailed job sheets before each event.
Tender Process Management: Manage the applications tender process and venue supplier lists.
Props Management: Ensure the Props Manager has accurate job sheets and assist with the preparation and post-event cleaning of props.
Business Development: Proactively source and build relationships with new business clients.

Experience

A minimum of five year’s experience within the events industry, or a similar, high pressure, organisational role is essential. Experience within the floristry industry is not essential, but would be advantageous. This is an office-based role, combined with a hands-on onsite element. The Head of Events role is not a floristry role – however you will be expected to develop a good knowledge of flowers and plants.

A full, UK, manual, drivers license is essential. Within the company, all members of the events team are required to drive company vehicles such as vans and/or cars to get to and from events and meetings.

Holiday

The company holiday allowance is 32 days inclusive of bank holidays. Within the events department, holiday within our peak times is often not allowed, due to our high volume of work, however this is assessed on a case by case bases. Peak times include ‘Wedding season’ (May – July) and also the run up to Christmas (mid November to mid December), as well as flower focused holidays, such as Valentines day and Mother’s Day.

The Role

In this strategic and client-focused role, you will drive new business growth and manage key brand accounts across events, e‑commerce partnerships, and contract services, while overseeing client ordering, nurturing aftercare, pipeline operations, and collaborating tightly with the marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Sales / Director of Events, you’ll be the linchpin between new opportunities and long-term relationships.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Growth

Identify and convert opportunities across: Bespoke e‑commerce partnerships (corporate gifting, brand collaboration), Contract accounts (hotels, retail, concierge, residential brands), High-end event leads (private parties, weddings, product and brand launches)

Respond to inbound inquiries and pitch with bespoke proposals aligned with Wild at Heart's creative standards and minimum spend criteria.


Account Management & Client Ordering

Serve as key account manager for major brand and corporate clients, ensuring seamless ordering and high-touch service.

Oversee recurring orders—seasonal, weekly or campaign-based—for hospitality and corporate accounts, managing details from specification to final delivery.

Maintain detailed knowledge of client preferences, branding, and style to ensure all floral designs and orders embody their identity and aesthetic.


Client Retention & Aftercare

Re-engage lapsed accounts and nurture active clients with structured follow-ups and service enhancements.

Handle aftercare enquiries, provide feedback loops post-event or delivery, and secure repeat business.

Ensure smooth continuity across departments for recurring clients.


Marketing & Strategy Collaboration

Work with the Marketing Team to develop and execute outreach campaigns, seasonal activations, and tailored materials aligned with target client sectors.

Provide insights into lead behaviour, client preferences, and market trends to shape marketing and service offerings.


CRM Ownership & Reporting

Own the Pipedrive CRM system across Events, Contracts, and E‑Commerce teams.

Drive pipeline accuracy, manage data hygiene, and ensure timely follow-ups.

Produce and present weekly/monthly sales and account performance dashboards; support team with CRM training and best practices.


Market Insight & Relationship Building

Keep ahead of market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities to inform growth strategy.

Represent Wild at Heart at high-level events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build the brand reputation and prospect pipeline.

Build database of approved supplier lists.


What We’re Looking For

3+ years in business development, sales or account management, ideally within luxury, hospitality, creative industries or premium e‑commerce.

Strong experience handling client ordering, contract accounts, and recurring service delivery.

Excellent track record in building and nurturing long-term client relationships.

Proven experience in sales and new business development.

Experience within the luxury/events/floral/hospitality industry.

Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably Pipedrive, with data-driven reporting skills.

Outstanding verbal and written communication, with flair for brand-aligned storytelling.

Exceptionally organised, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced, design-led environments.

Contracts Florist (Full-time – Weekdays/Weekends)

Location : Battersea, London

Working Hours: Normally 9hr shift

4am starts on Mondays.

Between 4am and 8am Tuesday to Friday and Saturday as required.

Our Contracts team works with an incredible portfolio of clients, including prestigious hotels, fashion houses, flagship retail stores, private homes and landmark offices across London. Each week, we design and install standout floral arrangements that reflect the individuality of each brand while remaining true to the Wild at Heart aesthetic. We are now looking for a Contract Florist to join our fast-paced and dynamic Contracts team. This is a hands-on and creatively fulfilling role at the very heart of the business.



Job Specification

· Act as key support and go between for the Contracts team

· Making, delivering, and installing flowers for our weekly Contracts Clients

· Some knowledge of contracts flowers

· Good understanding of floral design

· Conditioning flowers

· Early morning trips to the flower market

· Daily upkeep of the studio

· Daily paperwork e.g uploading receipts


Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the floral industry

Good seasonal flower knowledge and care

Strong customer service experience

Confident communicator

Plenty of stamina

Ability to work independently and part of a team

Efficient, able to work to tight deadlines

Creative background preferable, but not essential

Full UK driving licence, able to drive a van

Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a proactive and highly organisedWarehouse Managerto oversee the day-to-day operations of our event logistics warehouse. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent time management, attention to detail, and the flexibility to support event schedules — including evenings and weekends, with time off in lieu during the week.

Key Responsibilities


  • Event Job Support
  • Prepare and clear event jobs, including loading and unloading vans
  • Deliver and collect event installations, sometimes outside normal working hours
  • Liaise with event teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics

  • Oversee all hired props: tracking, storing, and scheduling returns
  • Ensure props are properly packed, cleaned, and maintained
  • Keep accurate records of inventory and hire schedules

Requirements

Social Media and Marketing Executive

The Social Media and Marketing Executive will be responsible for helping in executing marketing initiatives, managing social media presence and supporting partnerships. This hands-on role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in photo and video is a must.

Key Responsibilities


Digital Marketing & Content


  • Manage and grow social media presence across all platforms, creating engaging content and maintaining a consistent posting schedule
  • Create compelling long and short form copy for website, social media, emails, and marketing collateral
  • Support blog content creation and publishing on the website
  • Experience with CMS - to help with updates and maintenance when needed


Marketing Operations


  • Support Brand Director in managing marketing inquiries when needed
  • Help populate the marketing calendar with content ideas and ensure timely execution of all activities alongside Brand Director
  • Support the team with maintaining our CRM database of PR/marketing contacts


Visual Content & Design


  • Supporting Brand Director in designing marketing collateral for print and digital using InDesign and Canva including bi-monthly brochures
  • Take part in bi-monthly photoshoots for ecommerce - capture the BTS and videos
  • Own social media content creation for Wild at Heart and Nikki Tibbles (founder)
  • Organise and upload content to database (Dash)
  • Edit images and videos as needed for online use and ads
  • Ad hoc visit events and locations for social media capture
  • Occasional evening or weekend work might be required when big events, to cover content for social media and blogs, in exchange for TIL


Partnership & Influencer Support


  • Support the execution of brand partnerships and collaborations
  • Manage the social influencer program including gifting, relationship development, and coverage tracking


Retail Brand Marketing


  • Help coordinate seasonal campaigns, events, and workshops when needed


Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing role, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or lifestyle brands
  • Proficient in social media management and content creation
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (we use Klaviyo)
  • Strong copywriting skills for various formats and audiences
  • Working knowledge of design tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Microsoft)
  • Basic familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Keen eye for design, composition and attention to detail
