They date back to 500bc where they originated in China and Greece. They can now be found in every continent in the world except Antartica.
Orchids have a much longer live span the other flowers - lasting for months when cared for correctly. They are also hypoallergenic making them perfect for every household.
Orchids are typically found with very colourful blooms and can be seen in almost every colour.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ORCHIDS
1. Orchids are best placed in indirect sunlight.
2. Orchids grow best in humid conditions so if your room is dry, try a humidity tray to recreate this.
3. Prune the stems once the flowers fall off to improve its regrowth.
4. Overwatering can cause orchids to die so water it with small amounts regularly.
