The language of Ammi
How these textured flowers came to receive their name
Ammi is a genus of about six species of summer-flowering plants in the family Apiaceae.
They are native to southern Europe, northern Africa and Southwest Asia.
In the language of flowers, Ammi is also known as 'Queen Anne's Lace' and historically women added the flower to their baths in hopes of attracting love.
Ammi is a perfect addition to bouquets as they add great texture and give a wild feel.
