The Creative Mind Behind Exceptional Jewellery

Introducing Roxanne First, also known as Rocky, the creative force behind Roxanne First jewellery. Inspired by her Italian family's love for unique pieces, her childhood was steeped in the allure of jewels. After a decade in luxury retail, she returned to her first love, launching Roxanne First in 2018.

Specialising in stackable and layerable designs made from solid gold, her pieces are cherished for their timeless elegance. Where does the inspiration for your unique aesthetic come from?

That's a tough one, but like most creative people we are inspired by the world and people around us. I am inspired by all these things and I dilute it into an aesthetic that I want to achieve.

What’s your favourite part about the design/making process?

I am inspired by how women wear and layer their jewellery, how they stack rings on particular fingers, layer 1 or 2 necklaces (or 3 or 4) and how nowadays the more earrings the merrier! Understanding how women wear their jewellery and what they wear inspires me to design. I love creating jewellery that I have always wanted but never found.

Tell us about the ‘Love’ Necklace and what inspired you to design it?

We have an incredible necklace builder online which allows our clients to create their very own necklace using precious and semi-precious stones. These necklaces have been super popular with our clients and this pink opal and mother of pearl 'LOVE' necklace is a wonderful addition to your necklace stack.

What flowers do you love to have in your home?

I love all kinds of flowers, depending what is in season - right now it is mimosa. I absolutely adore ranunculus and peonies too.
