Ever charming and characteristically Italian, Daphne's London in the area of Brompton Cross in South Kensington was the hotspot for a dreamy dinner event. A long favourite amongst the residents of Chelsea, Daphne's presents seasonal Italian country cooking and great attention to detail.
With the perfect location chosen, plans for the evening were well underway to celebrate the Wardrobe Icons cover stars of 2018 and new cover girl Fiona Leahy, also the wonderful event designer. Wardrobe Icons was founded by former fashion editors Laura Fantacci and Petronella Stofberg, who favour "forever-pieces over quick-fix fashion and grown up style that you stay in love with, season after season". Now, the online magazine takes a look back on their incredible year of cover stars in the company of the stars themselves, friends and supporters of the brand.
The private room of Daphne's was an absolute dream of pinks, greens, reds and whites, perfectly completing the surroundings and colour scheme of the room. Summerill and Bishop beautifully dressed the table in a starry tablecloth, the perfect choice for the festive season. Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart curated the most dreamy cloud of gypsophila, hanging above the long table as the guests dined beneath it. Further flowers lined the table, the team created a table runner reminiscent of a beautiful meadow combining deep red roses, blush roses, anemones and ranunculus. Fiona Leahy perfected the table setting, picking out the luxurious tableware, candles and even monograming the guests initials on delicate gold bows...
What a perfect evening...thank you Fiona Leahy, Wardrobe Icons, Summerill and Bishop and Daphne's London.
