Christopher Kane And Disney's "Beauty And The Beast" CapsuleThis month saw the highly anticipated launch of Christopher Kane’s capsule collection inspired by the release of the new Beauty and the Beast film. The sustainable collection takes a modern twist on the tale as old as time, incorporating elements of the film into each piece.

In celebration of the launch of the 34-piece capsule collection, Wild at Heart adorned the front of the Mayfair flagship store with over 3,000 fresh rose buds and creeping ivy.  The installation engulfed the shop front transforming Mount Street into and scene from the enchanted forest. Christopher Kane And Disney's "Beauty And The Beast" Capsule Christopher Kane And Disney's "Beauty And The Beast" Capsule

We returned to the historical venue of One Marylebone recently to dress the hall for a spectacular 21st birthday like no other. Alongside globally renowned Lilingston Events, Nikki and our talented creative team worked closely to curate a magical evening that will never be forgotten.

With the freedom to explore the brief of  ‘blue’, our team took inspiration from many sources to bring to life the concept of a wonderfully detailed, playful and luxurious ‘Midnight Forest’.

With a tight turnaround, our talented army of florists worked tirelessly day and night on the run up to the evening’s festivities, creating a staggering 8ft of flowered table runners and 20 stunning statement trees – with no area of the venue left untouched.

On the evening guests were welcomed into the entrance hall for a drinks reception, which was dressed in beautiful light grey Lilingston bespoke furniture and framed with a wonderful light grey sparkling fern arch.

Guests were then lead into the great hall, and into the Midnight Forest….

Two tables ran the length of the room, dressed with intricate table runners comprising of a generous mix of red dahlias, pimpernel hydrangea, clematis, lilac tulips, anenome, delicate grape hyacinth and four different types of blue delphinium. The runner took inspiration from the wilderness of a forest floor, with pimpernel hydrangea leading guests attention up to the forest canopy . The table setting was accented with details such as Wild at Heart bespoke, hand-blown glass oil lamps, filled with dyed blue paraffin, and striking agate place cards designed by Lilingston.

The statement trees were comprised with a mass of glitter and cobalt blue sprayed asparagus fern, which created the sparkling forest top.  After the lavish dinner in the Midnight Forest, guests were invited to walk along the custom blue glitter carpet and retire to the dance floor for an evening of entertainment provided by Jess Gylnne.

A spectacular event! Many thanks again to the wonderful Lillingston Events.

Wild at Heart recently had the pleasure of dressing the tables of a 21st birthday party like no other. Working alongside Snapdragon Parties, we transformed the landmark venue of One Marylebone and recreated Rothschild’s Surrealist Supper…

img_1203Marie-Hélène de Rothschild’s famous Surrealist Ball took place in a chateaux just outside of Paris in 1972 and hosted a number of celebrities including Audrey Hepburn and Salvador Dali. To set the scene, the original invitations (stating a dress code of formal wear with a surrealist headdress) were written backwards, with guests having to decipher the text in a mirror. On arrival the guests were asked to complete a maze and walk through a black ribbon forest before being greeted by a number of feline hosts. Rumored to be an Illuminati party and shrouded in mystery, the surrealist supper fast became one of the most infamous nights in history.

babyFast forward to 2016 with Wild at Heart and the creative minds of our events team, we curated a magnificently unique evening based on the nights events in 1972. The history steeped hall of One Marylebone, in all its grandeur, lent its self amazingly to the party. The hall was dressed in six primitive trestle tables adorned in an eclectic mix of vintage and custom designed props. A series of cloche’s were placed on the tables, each one housing different and beautifully bizarre scenes. Autumnal foliage and moss added texture to the tables which were then completed with doll-eating-Venus fly traps.

Cara-Delevingne-style-lady-garden-1Last year Wild at Heart transformed the window of Topshop’s flagship store in support of the Gynaecological Cancer Fund’s Lady Garden campaign. The Lady Garden charity which is run by a group of British women aims to raise awareness and money for the treatment of gynecological cancer. Returning this year with Cara Delevigne fronting the campaign, the charity has launched a new Lady Garden fashion range, designed by illustrator Simeon Farrar and sold in Topshop’s stores nationwide and online.

To promote the campaign, ahead of Septembers’ Gynae cancer awareness month, Cara was recently featured on the front cover of The Sunday Times Style Magazine, wearing just a ‘Lady Garden’ sweater and a perfectly placed Wild at Heart sunflower.

In a statement from the brand “This year’s campaign will continue to raise awareness among young women about gynaecological cancer and its symptoms,”

You can show your support and get involved with the #ladygardencampaign here.

Wild at Heart recently had the pleasure of dressing the penthouse suite of the Edition Hotel, London, for the launch of the new H&M Home collection.

Stylish and contemporary, the simple use of a variety of ferns complimented the new range of interiors. The foliage was displayed throughout the suite in an eclectic mix of vases and vessels, all available from the collection. Adding to the Scandinavian feel of the event the ever-green plants created a contrast against the deep wood of the suite and the sharp, clean angles of the home-wares.

Following the showcase press were invited down for a dinner, the table was dressed again in H&M interiors, completed with a full Wild at Heart fern runner.

Walk into New Covent Garden Flower Market or down Columbia Road and you will see  the most spectacular artichoke bulbs and striking pink miniature pineapples, however, they are not being sold for consumption… The latest floral trends have seen various food items incorporated into the most fabulous bouquets and centerpieces, adding a quirky touch to weddings and events.

This week we have been celebrating berries. The use of young raspberries and blackberries in arrangements adds a wild essence to the arrangement, reminiscent of foraging in hedgerows as a child or visiting PYO fields with our grandparents, we are loving using this little element to add different dimension to our arrangements.

Lillingston-GoffsJune132016103Wild at Heart  had the pleasure of dressing the renowned GOFF’S London sale last month organised by top events company, Lillingston. The event held outside of The Orangery at Kensington palace saw racehorses being auctioned for the third time in central London. A fabulous selection of light canapes were served to guests as they enjoyed summer drinks on the terrace, embodying the essence of a truly spectacular summer party.

High-end department store Selfridges became the official sponser of the sale this year, so the theme behind the flowers had to, of course, incorporate the iconic yellow that they have become so well known for.

Although, in typical British fashion the summer sun never quite appeared, the canary yellow and white flowers shone in their themed Selfridges hat boxes. The striking arrangements were positioned on top of an array of beautiful garden furniture that had been picked from Lillingston Livings’s carefully curated stock of interiors and event furniture, giving the whole event the Lilingston look.

Lillingston-GoffsJune13201618Lillingston-GoffsJune13201626We created two large, stand out urns for the entrance of the event containing tall, pearly delphinium and the most gorgeous fever few daisies which added notes of yellow to the arrangements. Small, random, vases of pretty wild flowers were distributed around the event adding character to another of Lillingston’s sensational events.
