The highly anticipated, Absolutely Fabulous, premiered last night and was one of the glitziest premieres to hit London’s Leicester Square this year. The movie, which is released on July 1, is full of famous cameos including Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Lily Cole, Jourdan Dunn, Daisy Lowe and Suki Waterhouse. The fabulous duo, with their star-studded entourage, then carried on the party at London’s iconic Liberty London – home to our very own Wild at Heart.

Also this week, the streets of London were awash with colour as the LGBT community celebrated Pride festival in jubilant spirits. Wild at Heart created this beautiful bold urn for the VIP tent in Trafalgar Square. Theme? AB FAB, of course!

This week we had the pleasure of dressing the magnificent painted hall in the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, for a lavish gala dinner. The stunning setting, dubbed “the Sistine Chapel of the UK” features a staggering 5,683 sq painted ceiling, the largest figurative painting in the country.
The table settings were designed to reflect the magnificence of the famed ceiling, using bespoke mirrored service’s on each of the tables. Crystal glassware and gold plates were then used to add to the opulence of the table setting. We created luxurious, high and low table centers using volumes of smooth, velvety, red naomi, deep-red grand prix and spray roses. The roses were chosen for their deep colour and their sweet scent which infused the air throughout the evening. Burgundy peonies characterised by their full heads and ruffled petals were used to add depth and texture to the table centers. The arrangements were then completed by adding a touch of asparagus fern and cherry foliage to compliment the strong red’s of the featured flowers.

Nestled deep in the countryside of Yorkshire is the striking ancestral home of Carlton Towers, which recently played host to a fabulous, contemporary, white wedding. The chosen flowers for the day were designed to be simplistic and light to stand out against the traditional backdrop of the house.
The couple exchanged their vows in front of 200 guests under a bespoke white rose Chuppah lit by spotlights to create a striking and stand out setting to the ceremony.
Guest then enjoyed a lavish dinner around contemporary centerpieces featuring large vases of submerged orchids with delicate gypsophila filling smaller glass vessels around the table. Hundred’s of candles were used to create the magical ambiance to the evening adding a warmth to the light floral arrangements.

We have been making the most of the hydrangea season this year, using the versatile bloom to adorn the streets of Marylebone, fabulous events and summer weddings. The nostalgic flower that often evokes memories of our Grandmother’s garden is fast becoming one of the most favoured flowers of summer 2016.
Arguably the most unique quality of the hydrangea is it’s ability to change colour due to variations in the PH balance of the soil. This results in the most amazing kaleidoscope of colours varying from soft pastels to deep, rich purple, even two-tone varieties are available such as this beautiful Beau Dali.
The tight clusters of delicate petals make-up large cloud like heads that work well as standalone blossoms to create simplistic dome or in a mixed arrangement with blousy peonies, roses and gueldor to produce a wild English country garden themed bouquet.
Wild at Heart recently teamed up with Rae Feathers, filling one of her divine monogrammed baskets with bundles of soft pink hydrangea’s, peonies and roses to create the most unique christening gift for a lucky little girl.

The team here at Wild at Heart HQ joined forces with the Wild at Heart foundation at yesterday’s #notodogmeat protest outside of the Chinese embassy. The demonstration was aimed shine a light on the pure evil of the Yulin dog meat Festival. The annual festival held in the south of China results in the brutality, torture and death of approximately 10,000 dogs per year for food or fur… and must stop now!!
Show your support by signing the petition to #stopyulin or donate to no-to-dog meat here.
Nikki joined here by Shelly Vella and Brett Allan along side his gorgeous pooch Camille who was rescued from the dog meat trade in China last year.

Last week Wild at Heart created the perfect backdrop to the unavailing of plans to launch the first Four Seasons resort in Croatia. The luxury hotel is to open on the stunning island of Hvar in 2019. The corporate event was adorned in a gorgeous mix of purples, greens and creams created using lavender, olive, rosemary and carnations. The flowers and foliage that created a botanical bar, flower wall and large urns infused the air with their fragrant scent adding to the excitement of the evening.
We had the pleasure of doing wedding flowers for Nicole and Adam, our friends at Banana Split, whose big day took place at the luxury Rosewood Hotel. We created the most beautiful chuppah of eucalyptus studded with gorgeous white roses to provide a centre stage for the couple to exchange their vows.
Garlands of white roses and eucalyptus were spiralled down to the base where clusters of candles added a warm glow to the ceremony. Table decorations altered between white rose domes and taller centrepieces of spiralling eucalyptus arrangements, keeping a chic and stylish theme to a delightful day.

The 13th-18th of June marks British Flowers Week, the annual celebration of the bounty of blooms in Britain. Championed by New Covent Garden Market, the five-day campaign aims to shine a light on seasonal, locally produced flowers and foliage, British cut flower growers and the talented florists they supply.
To celebrate British Flowers Week, Wild at Heart have put together a selection of our favourite local blooms available this season.
Available from mid-May to Early July, peonies are one of the most popular wedding flowers this season. This English favourite comes in a variety of gorgeous pinks and whites and has large, romantic, blousy blooms making it the perfect focal point in a bouquet or center piece.
One of our summer time favorites is the sweetpea, this blossom bears a beautiful scent and comes in a variety of pretty pastels. The papery softness of their petals means they work extremely well with large blousy flowers such as peonies or garden roses, to create delicate and fragrant seasonal bouquets.
We put together a deliciously scented arrangement containing some of our British favourites; mint, pale nigella, sweetpeas, oregano and lilac stocks. Nigella is an English country staple with lacy leaves that add a delicate touch to any arrangement. The lovely sky blue of the nigella works fabulously here with the pastel pinks of the sweet peas and the lilac stocks.
