The Think Shaadi boutique event saw an exclusive showcase of the stunning new bridal collection’s by Suneet Varma and Tarun Tahiliani at the Mayfair Hotel in London. Taking inspiration from the vibrant fabric colours used in their garment designs, we put together a sumptuous mix of bright and bold seasonal flowers to accentuate the intricately beaded dresses and floral paisley patterns.

We created bespoke floral arrangements of pink and purple hydrangea, pink piano and spray roses, purple and blue delphinium, guelder rose and clematis and placed them into golden brass urns and bronze fish bowls which were placed around the room to complement the space in a fun and uplifting way.

We fell in love with the Judith Leiber rose clutch, which is one of five in the world and was exclusively showcased at the event.

Deborah Lloyd, Chief Creative Officer and President of Kate Spade New York, threw a dinner party last week in Celebration of Chelsea in Bloom & Chelsea Flower Show, and of course we were delighted to be asked to create the table centres for this joyous occasion.

Running with Chelsea in Bloom’s fairy tale theme and Kate Spade’s Alice in Wonderland inspired shop front, we transformed Daphne’s restaurant into our own mad hatters tea party with tumbling towers of polished white tea cups and tea pots, overflowing with beautiful pelargoniums, astrantia, secret garden roses and light pink and coral carnations. The displays were surrounded by crystal clear glass tea lights for an intimate and magical touch to the evening.

With all of Chelsea in bloom this week, Rose Uniacke was no exception. We put together some stunning arrangements of lupins and colourful country cottage plants in terracotta and stone pots to create a wild and eye-catching window display for their Pimlico store.

This year we partnered with luxury jewellery brand Monica Vinader to transform their flagship store into an enchanted forest of tangling braches and mystical flowers for this year’s Chelsea in Bloom. We were lucky enough to catch up with Monica herself to talk flowers, fairy tales and future aspirations for the brand.

Don’t forget, if you haven’t already voted for the People’s Choice Award, click here & vote Monica Vinader now!

What does Chelsea, and London, mean to you?

London is a big part of my life. I came here to study at 18 and lived in Chelsea until I was 30, so I feel as though I grew up here, really. We have three boutiques and an office in London so it’s still very much at the heart of the brand.

Going with this year’s Chelsea in Bloom theme, what’s your favourite fairy-tale?

Thumbelina has always been a favourite. The idea of this tiny person living amongst wild flowers and escaping on a lily pad – it’s such a cute story!

Here at Wild at Heart we are very inspired by nature and the changing seasons, when it comes to designing your new collections, where do you draw your inspiration from?

My Inspiration can come from anywhere. It might be an object I see in a museum, a beautiful piece of architecture, or a pretty stone I find on the beach. I’m constantly inspired by my surroundings and sketch my ideas on the go.

Your jewellery collections always feature such beautiful gemstones, is there one that you are particularly fond of?

I’m often asked this question and it’s tricky to choose just one. We have a real love affair with our gemstones and work hard to source the most beautiful stones, cutting them to our own bespoke specifications to bring out their natural beauty and variation. Aquamarine is a favourite for summer. It really reminds me of the ocean and there’s this cloudiness to it that makes every piece of jewellery unique. We’ve expanded our Siren and Capri collections this year to include more aquamarine styles. I just can’t get enough of it.

With many stylish women wearing your jewellery, is there anyone you are exceptionally proud of? Who else would you love to see in your creations?

I always feel incredibly proud when I see women like the Duchess of Cambridge and Olivia Palermo wearing my jewellery. I never design with anyone in particular in mind, I just create pieces I can’t wait to wear myself! Our celebrity following is quite diverse in terms of ages and styles, and I love that. I like to think that any woman can wear our jewellery in their own way, to reflect their individual style.

How would you describe your home? Are flowers a common feature there?

Absolutely! I love plants and flowers. I’ll always have vases of flowers in the house to add accents of colour. I live in the countryside and we have a very large garden planted with peonies, roses and Norfolk lavender, with huge borders of hydrangeas. I try to bring some of my Norfolk garden into each one of our stores, with fresh flowers always on display.

Tell us about the exciting projects you are currently working on at the moment…

There’s so much going on right now! We have an amazing new friendship collection launching in June called Linear, more new collections coming up in the summer, and right now, we’re focused on designing for 2016, which is all keeping us very busy!

Having won brand of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards in 2008 and now seeing your collections in Harrods, Selfridges and Liberty, what is the next step for Monica Vinader?

It feels amazing to have our brands stocked in such prestigious locations. We also have three standalone London boutiques, and last year we opened our first store in Hong Kong, at the ifc Mall, as well as a concept corner in Boutique 1 at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. We have two or three other international locations set to open this year too, so watch this space!

Chelsea in Bloom now in full swing, if you haven’t already voted for us for the People’s Champion, click here to place your vote now before joining us as we take a closer look at our display for Kate Spade New York.

Tying in this year’s ‘Fairy Tales’ theme and the 150th anniversary of Alice in Wonderland, our inspiration was drawn from Kate Spade’s new summer collection, bringing to life the idea of flamingo croquet as played by Alice in the story.

We started out by creating beautiful floating clouds of white gypsophila for a magical and dreamy exterior to the store.

Underneath the fluffy clouds stand two large pink flamingos created out of pink carnations, ranging from light coral to a deep pink tones.

Inside the store, we placed a wall of moss for mannequins and displays to stand in front of, creating a suitable backdrop to portray the croquet feel. Miniature toadstalls made from cream carnations and gerbera centres were used throughout the display to add a whimsical fairy tale touch.

We also used varying shades of pink handbags to form the body of floral, pink flamingos, with their necks and tails made out of matching layered petals, creating a quirky and original window display.
