In the run up to this year’s Chelsea in Bloom, we thought we’d kick-start all of the May-hem by taking a look back at last year’s competition. Creation in Colour was the theme, and we certainly didn’t hold back! The Kate Spade New York store became a vibrant tropical paradise, complete with a floral toucan for a Rio-inspired touch. All of our hard work paid off, with our display earning Kate Spade the Gold Award and not to mention 2nd place in the People’s Champion Award.
This year, Chelsea in Bloom will be returning for its annual 5-day spectacular from 18-23 May during which the best of Chelsea’s shop fronts will be magically transformed into a fantasy world for this year’s Fairy Tales theme. We are delighted to be working with Kate Spade New York for a second year running and we will also be working with luxury jewellery brand & designer, Monica Vinader.
This year will also see 10 years of the renowned Chelsea in Bloom event which is set to be even more impressive than last year. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram to keep updated on our Chelsea in Bloom activities and find out how you can win prizes with our Chelsea in Bloom competitions!

Inspired by the Victorian concept of a silent language which could “say” what was not dared to be spoken, the Alex Monroe story for AW 2015 is The Language of Flowers and we are thrilled to be partnering with them for the launch of this new and exciting collection.
The range offers an assortment of delicate pieces including vintage cameo-style necklaces, elegant pearl studs and exquisite gemstone rings, each of which has its own special meaning. Alex Monroe’s Language of Flowers puts a modern spin on antique jewellery, and will be available in stores from September.
For this event, we created numerous arrangements of sweet peas, ranunculus, roses and astrantia in soft, muted tones which were placed in metal vases of varying shapes and sizes for a vintage inspired look to compliment the collection.
Take a look at some photos from the press day last week…

It’s St. George’s Day, and what better way to celebrate than with our national flower!
The Tudor rose became the national flower of England after the 15th century civil war between the Royal House of Lancaster, whose emblem was a red rose, and the Royal House of York, represented by a white rose. It is symbolic of peace and unity after the battle, which later become known as the War of the Roses.

To celebrate the release of Alan Rickman’s A Little Chaos starring Kate Winslet (in cinemas tomorrow!), we partnered up with Lionsgate UK to create a limited edition bouquet which displays an exquisite mix of soft spring colours inspired by the country gardens and woodlands featured in the film.
The film tells the story of Madame Sabine De Barra (Kate Winslet), an unlikely candidate for landscape architect of the still‐to-be-completed Palace of Versailles. She has little time for the classical, ordered designs of the man who hires her, the famous architect Le Nôtre (Matthias Schoenaerts). However, as she works on her creation, she finds herself drawn to the enigmatic Le Nôtre and forced to negotiate the perilous rivalries and intricate etiquette of the court of King Louis XIV (Alan Rickman). But Sabine is made of strong stuff; her honesty and compassion help her to overcome both the challenges of her newfound popularity, and an unspeakable tragedy from her past, to win the favour of the Sun King and the heart of Le Nôtre.
Check out our A Little Chaos Bouquet sitting next to the stars on BBC Breakfast this morning! If you missed it, you can view the full clip here.
