As your bouquet is such a key focal point for the day, you can use it to tie your colour schemes together. Think about what your bridesmaids are wearing, how a matching buttonhole will appear for your groom and groomsmen, and even what close family members will be wearing on the day. Referencing different elements of the day in one bouquet is the perfect way to pull everything together.

To celebrate the start of the new season, we’ve launched our new autumn bouquets – Autumn Embers and Autumn Garden.

Reminiscent of wood smoke and autumn firesides, our Autumn Embers bouquet comprises roses, rosehips, autumn berries and seasonal foliage.

And our dazzling Autumn Garden bouquet is made up of seasonal favourites including dahlias, rosehips, zinnias and autumnal roses.

Choosing your wedding bouquet is such an important decision for your wedding – while it’s only one aspect of the flowers, it will be in every photo and is a real focal point. But where should you start when you’re choosing your bouquet? Throughout the week we’ll be sharing tips and ideas to help you make your choice.

A great place to start is by thinking about what will work well with your wedding dress. Your bouquet should be perfectly in proportion with you and your dress, reflecting the shape, fabric and texture. If you’re wearing a very structured dress then you can bring this style into your bouquet with a beautiful dome of roses. If your dress is less structured, for example, flowing lace, then a trailing bouquet in a slightly more loose structure will work well.

If you can, take a sample bouquet to your final wedding dress fitting so you can see how the flowers look with your dress. If you do have a fairly loose bouquet then you can see how the flowers move and make any final adjustments so it stays beautiful throughout the day and when you walk up the aisle.

Last night, Peyton Events and the Imperial War Museum hosted an industry showcase and we were tasked with creating a contemporary, vibrant and unique atmosphere for the event.

We framed the entrance with gold urns standing on matching plinths and lined the stairway with gold hand blown lanterns. We used bright seasonal flowers throughout the venue in hot pink, warm orange and deep purple, perfectly complementing the bright lighting and furnishings to tie the event styling together.

Marie Peyton, director of Peyton Events, said: “It is a privilege to be the exclusive caterer in this iconic venue and we are thrilled to be creating so many bespoke events in these innovative and dynamic spaces.

“The launch event showcased the best of British produce and Peyton Events’ latest menus. It was a joy to work with like-minded event suppliers such as Wild at Heart, Great Hire, Glo Productions, Sternberg Clarke and Jones to create a truly unique and contemporary party at IWM London.”

You can see more details about the evening in Event magazine here.

We were delighted to work with the brilliant team at Banana Split for this bright and summery wedding at Goodwood House.

We built a stunning flower archway as a focal point for the ceremony and adorned the aisle-side chairs with posies in a complementary colour scheme.

For the following meal, we lined the dining room tables with garden roses and hydrangea and gently lit the room with masses of tea lights and silver candelabras.
