It’s not just fashion which has got everyone talking floral trends this spring. Peachy pinks, berry shades and coral brights will be all over our pretty faces before we know it. Taking inspiration from fabulously colourful flowers, lipstick, blushes and even eyeshadow will be huge trend setters this coming season. Fresh flowers in the hair will also add extra gorgeousness to your sweet spring look. Now hurry up, sunshine!

Thank you to the Caroline Castigliano and Brides Magazine for hosting a fabulous reader’s event at the Dorchester Hotel last week. As we dined over champagne, cucumber sandwiches and scrumptious cakes we met some wonderful brides-to-be and talked all things flowers and bridal. Top wedding planner, Bruce Russell, was also on hand to provide specialist advice on all-you-need-to-know wedding planning.
The Orchid Room was a vision of romance as our flowers looked wonderfully classic among the crystals and candles. Beautiful arrangements and a magnificent urn of Super Bubble, Sweet Naomi and O’Hara roses with white lilac looked stunningly gorgeous.

In the heart of the city sits a brand new bar, Steam and Rye. Located on Leadenhall Street the venue once housed the Bank of New York but is now home to proud new owner, the fabulous Kelly Brook. We were lucky enough to spend our evening here last night as hosts of a flower class in conjunction with Mask Events. Upstairs in the quirkiest of rooms where peacocks sat, vintage suitcases were piled high and chandeliers and birdcages hung from the ceiling, we had great fun incorporating a pop-up flower stall amongst the eccentric surroundings.
Guests were treated to champagne and canapés whilst being introduced to the Wild at Heart team and letting their imagination flow during a floral jam-jar masterclass. My gorgeous florist, Robyn, led the way as guests picked their choice of flowers from the pop-up stall. From roses and tulips to anemones and mimosa, colourful jam-jars were surrounding us all, with perfect ribbon tying and flower designing.
Steam and Rye has been refurbished to look like New York’s Grand Central Station and even features a first class cocktail carriage. The bar comes complete with high ceilings and new-gothic pillars, perfect for the 1925 Hollywood glamour. A must visit – and that’s not just for the cocktails!

Covered in delicate pink blossom, there’s something utterly mesmerising about blossom trees.
A client of mine had requested one of these pretty trees to stand centre of attention in the reception room of her birthday party. We added dreamy butterflies to the beautiful blossom and placed on a bright light plinth; we wanted guests to feel as though they were about to step into a fairy-tale story.
Under the umbrella of shimmering blossom, spotlights shined against the whimsical tree and reflections dazzled in the eyes of friends and family.

If you’re planning a wedding then I urge you to visit the fabulous Goodwood Estate. Nestled at the foot of the South Downs, only 60 miles from London, The Goodwood Estate is home to several unique venues from a magnificent stately home, a luxury hotel and something utterly unique and chic, ‘The Kennels’.
I was lucky enough to be involved in their first wedding showcase last weekend, working alongside the brilliant team at GSP. We were asked to provide wedding flowers for the beautiful event and it was a joy to create a country-vintage floral dream, which perfectly complimented the exquisite surroundings of Goodwood House. Opening its doors to hundreds of brides-to-be the house was transformed into a romantic wedding venue with experts on hand to guide visitors through its stunning history and magnificent paintings.
As you approached the magnificent doors, striking storm lanterns paved the way to the entrance where guests were greeted with a huge stone urn filled with country flowers in an assortment of lilacs, creams and pale blues. The ceremony aisle was a wonder of simple white flowers, petals and candles and two large urns on glass plinths created a floating floral vision. I wanted to give each table a different feel and colour palette, yet keeping roses and candles at the fore-front of the delicate designs. Striking candelabras and rose petals completed the dreamy inspiration.

A very strange thing happened yesterday. It was 5pm, I was enjoying a cup of Earl Grey in my office and reading through numerous wedding proposals. I turned to look out my office window and low and behold…. it was still light outside! Yes my darlings, spring is starting to poke her sunny face around the corner. Obviously, this fabulous observation threw my whole team into bundles of excitement and lots of big smiles.
Isn’t it amazing how a little shimmer of sunshine can create huge happiness all around? It has been dull, dreary and wet for far too long now and I think everyone needs a bit of colour and hope in their lives. Take a look at some of the beautiful spring flowers we have available in my shops today; I hope they make you smile as much they do me.

One of my favourite venues, Spencer House, played host to a fabulous party this week which celebrated the capital’s talent in fashion, film and music. Working alongside the brilliant team at the British Fashion Council, #CreativeLondon was an absolute joy to work on.
We used a colour theme which complimented each room in the stunning building. A mix of blue hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, lilac lilac and lilac roses in a grey urn, surrounded by clusters of gold tea lights, looked simply beautiful in the library. A mass of cream, apricot and antique caramel roses arranged in a large gold urn became the focal point of the grand dining room, and tables in the great room were draped with burgundy damask cloths and looked luscious with knots of dark red and black tulips and roses. The gorgeous staircase was flooded with twinkly gold tea lights and storm lanterns.
Enjoying the beautiful surroundings, champagne and canapes were worldwide famous faces including HRH Princess Beatrice, Anna Wintour OBE, Olivia Palermo, Poppy Delevingne and Christopher Bailey MBE. I love the perfectly positioned photo, Christopher!
