A roaring success at the Tinsel and Tails fundraising event for Mayhew Animal Home Charity. Held at the beautiful St Paul’s Church in Hammersmith, guests were wined and dined while being treated to an evening of fabulous auctions, sparkling wine, delicious food and furry four-legged guests.
Fiona Leahy Design achieved yet another hugely popular and fun evening, resulting in a fabulous amount of money being raised for the charity.
St Paul’s Church looked ready for Christmas following our festive transformation of the tables. Gold tea-lights and large burning candles set the mood and arrangements of red roses, gold leaves, crystals and seasonal foliage surrounded huge candelabras. Against the backdrop of the magnificent arches and tall ceilings, the setting looked simply breath-taking.

Banana Split are an experienced events company based in London whom I have done a lot of work with over the last year.
I wanted to say a special thanks to the team, so this week I invited them all down to my Pimlico Road shop for an evening of champagne, canapés and flowers.
For one night only, I handed over the reigns and the Banana Split Party Planners became florists. Following a couple of quick demonstrations the team got to work creating their master-pieces. And I must say – I was fabulously surprised!
Scrumptious bouquets were being created all around me, full of colour and life. It’s amazing how personalities can transfer in to flowers; we had big and bouncy, small and delicate, colourful and wild, detailed and stylish. Each single bouquet had a different look which I adored.
A fabulous well done all round. Now, how about a flower canopy next time?!
Thank you for coming and I hope your flowers have made you all smile.
A special thanks to William Curley Chocolatier and Daylesford London

It was an absolute delight to install a bespoke Christmas tree for my darling friend and exquisite jewellery designer, Solange Azagury-Partridge.
This Christmas will be her first in the brand new location of Carlos Place, Mayfair. Stepping inside the shop, you feel like Alice In Wonderland as she steps through the looking-glass in to a magical wonderland. Bright colours, jewels and rainbows!
Solange asked me to take inspiration from her green room [below middle] and one of her favourite gemstones, emerald. We installed a tree which was draped in sparkling green fairy lights, emerald green glitter baubles and dashings of holly.
It will certainly be a ‘Very Emerald Christmas’ at Solange’s!

Stepping in to Jessica McCormack’s Mayfair shop I felt as though I was entering Aladdin’s Cave. The stunning store is a treasure box of jewels, paintings, books, roaring fireplaces and of course, diamonds. I didn’t want to leave!
A fabulously warm welcome from Jessica and her staff, I was greeted with smiles and luxury. A huge thank you to Fiona Leahy Design who had asked us to help transform the already fabulous space in to an extra special Christmas wonderland; I was excitedly back to see the finished vision. Fiona Leahy and her team had created the Christmas trees while I had designed the fabulous garlands which surrounded the fireplaces. Stunning fusions of gold roses, hydrangeas, glitter, twinkling lights, pine cones and seasonal foliage.
The beautiful and talented Jessica also shared with me her top six jewellery pieces for Christmas this year. A collection of divine diamonds, Jessica’s collection will make sure your Christmas tree sparkles the brightest.

Meadham Kirchhoff have unveiled their latest collection for Topshop and I’ve fallen head-over-heels! A rainbow coloured collection of frills, lace, glitter, PVC, fur, chiffon and wool. Eye-popping brights to the sweetest of baby blue.
I’ve worked with the fabulous duo Meadham Kirchhoff on many occasions and have designed the stunning settings for their London Fashion Shows (below). It’s always a pleasure to work with the pair – their creativity and inspiration is breath-taking.
Meadham Kirchhoff’s Winter ’13 collection with Topshop is the largest and most elaborate yet. The story is that of an imaginary girl band, The Cherry’s; Cherry Cherie, Cherry Satanika, Cherry Pikka and Cherry Blossom. Every piece tells an individual story. Their stand-out pieces of accessories, footwear and jewellery complete the utterly fabulous look.
Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop is in store now

We had a wonderfully ‘scented Christmas’ last night at Red Magazine’s Christmas workshop.
I was asked to host two Christmas master-classes for their readers; I wanted to keep it creative yet simple, easy-to-try and of course, fabulous!
We had so much fun creating three Christmas arrangements: A table centrepiece, a wreath and a Christmas tree. Our decorations were made up of an array of purple and silver ribbon, glitter covered orchids, dried lavender and fruit, cinnamon sticks and pine cones. The fragrance was simply divine!
I have so much fun at evenings like these. It’s always such pleasure to meet and chat to readers and answer their questions – and sprinkle a touch of ‘Wild at Heart’ magic into people’s lives.
Finishing the evening with some mulled wine and mince pies, I wondered why every Monday couldn’t be like this?!
Thank you to the wonderful Red Magazine team for a superb evening.
