I am so excited to unveil the special edition Wild at Heart bag designed by the beautifully talented, Susannah Hunter. Renowned for her luxurious leather bags, this Wild at Heart bag has been lovingly handmade with Susannah’s signature-style floral design. The featured bouquet, which I made exclusively, is created up of dahlias, red and black roses, garden roses, hypercium berries and garden hydrangeas. The colour palette obviously had to be in my favourite colour – red!
I’m so thrilled with the handbag, mine hasn’t left my side.
Each bag is handmade in Susannah’s London studio and is available from next week at £790. For more details email firstname.lastname@example.org
A personal thank-you to Susannah as well for this wonderful piece. It has been an absolute delight working so closely with you on this fabulous project – here’s to many more exciting collaborations!

I’ve managed to steal half an hour with a cup of Earl Grey and my laptop. Bliss!
It’s been non-stop the last 24 hours, preparing for events and parties not only in London but international launches that we’re also involved in at the weekend (more on that to come next week).
Last night was spent installing for LK Bennett and Hermés. LK Bennett was holding a Christmas 2013 ‘party wear fashion show’ at Hotel Marylebone, London. We were asked to create large, natural-looking style arrangements for the catwalk. We used long crystal-clear glass vases and filled them with luxurious white roses, dille, euphorbia and fabulously large green hydrangeas. A real country-chic style which matched the décor beautifully.
The SS14 showcase for Hermés was held in Fiztroy Square at a stunning private house. Each room showcased their different collections from beautiful jewellery and handbags to fabulous clothes and shoes. They required a ‘spring’ feel for the home with a bright mix of colours. Our flowers were made up of blue, green and purple hydrangeas, an array of orange, yellow and pink roses and deep purple blooms. Arrangements were placed around the home with focal points in magnificent fire-places . Dried English lavender and mint were hung from the kitchen rack providing a wonderful aroma.
I’m rushing off now for to set-up Vogue’s pop-up club and a wine-tasting event at Corney and Barrow with our friends over at GSP (strictly just flowers for me though, I promise!). And tonight I’m flying off to an incredibly exciting launch we’re involved in which I hope to share with you next week.
Wow, I do love my job.

Last night I was lucky enough to be a guest at a fundraising dinner in aid of three very important animal charities: CARE (Corfu Animal Rescue Establishment), HOPE Sanctuary charity in Barbados and ZAASO, a tiny charity based in Zanzibar. Aptly named ‘A Dogs Dinner’ the evening was held at Loulou’s, the exclusive private members club at 5 Hertford Street, and raised over a staggering £50,000.
The style of the venue was incredibly intimate and warm so we dressed the tables with a mix of red, purple and orange flowers including dahlias, roses and clematis.
Steve Coogan, Julian Fellowes, Hugh Hutton, Lady Annabel Goldsmith, Viscountess Rothermere and Sharon Eve were just some of the high-profile guests in attendance.
A lovely evening for causes which are very close to my heart. Thank you.

I hope you all managed to keep safe and warm from the storm? I was at the flower market this morning and it was a surprise that no-one took off and flew away!
It’s been a very exciting weekend, albeit wet and windy. I had a phone-call to ask if I could create a collection of stunning arrangements for an A-list celebrity, who had flown into England for a very important appearance. My lips are sealed but I designed some beautiful creations made up of luxurious Timeless Rose Knot bouquets, sumptuous white roses in black glass vases and large vintage-inspired arrangements filled with Amnesia, Memory Lane and Bombastic Spray roses and eucalyptus. Candles were light around the room accentuating the generous arrangements and creating a haven of peacefulness and relaxation.
Who wouldn’t want to be greeted by a room full of fresh roses and glittering candles following a long haul flight? I’ll keep you guessing…

If you want to throw the party of all parties, then you have to check out the amazing Anyhoe Park.
We recently had the pleasure (and most fun!) in doing the flowers for a party at this most incredible venue. Located in Oxfordshire, Anyhoe Park is a spectacular private house available for exclusive hire for up to 200 of your nearest and dearest.
The interior is British eccentricity at its best. Large coloured chandeliers, marbled coffee tables, taxidermy’s, four poster beds, fur throws, quilted cocktail bars…. The words ‘shy and retiring’ have certainly been left behind at the gates.
Our brief for the party was ‘funky, eccentric, bright and British’. We were asked to follow the theme through of their bright pink invites, so flooded the rooms with pink hydrangeas and pink Cherry O roses, placed in large flocked vases and surrounded by stunning candelabras. The dining room (the only room where we could use more than pink) was left as a colour explosion of green tea roses, yellow roses, blue, purple and pink hydrangeas. It was a bright and colourful surprise for guests when dinner was revealed.
A fabulously fun party that was incredibly creative and inspiring. Pink is obviously the new black. And Anyhoe Park is obviously the new place to be!

Fish and chips, chocolate and fizz – what a fabulous and successful evening last night for the launch Martyn Thompson’s book, Working Space.
Held at our Pimlico Road shop, guests arrived in their droves. The atmosphere was electric; it was summer in October as the party spilled out on to the streets. People stood in awe of Martyn’s magnificent moodboard – which will now become a permanent feature – and his signed copies of ‘Working Space’ was flying off the shelves into the hands of some very lucky people.
We had so many compliments about our flagship shop and I could see why – it mirrored a magical kingdom of flowers, lanterns, candles and art.
I’m very honoured and proud to have hosted the launch for one of my oldest and dearest friends. Can we do it every week, darling?
Head over to our online shop to buy your copy of Working Space.

Displaying our huge vases of roses around the beautiful Claridges suite on Wednesday was the finishing touch to the already luxurious Myla press day. I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek at their stunning collection for SS14 and, WOW. It was a girl’s dream of silk, satin and lace with splashes of colour (and scrumptious macaroons!) through-out. Our mix of pink roses and eucalyptus perfectly complimented the styles.
We love working with Myla and I’m very excited for potential collaborations in the future. I must stop myself from daydreaming about all the fabulous ideas I have for bouquets having been inspired by Myla’s collection. Just gorgeous!

‘Never has a pair of scissors been so masterful. Rob Ryan cuts out dreams and stories and worlds that enchant and remind us of the first movie makers.’ Tim Burton.
This is such a stunning and adorable quote. It perfectly sums up the talent of one of my favourite artists, Rob Ryan. A paper-cutter artist who specialises in paper-cutting, screen-printing, drawing and painting, Rob is a national treasure.
Last night was the opening reception of his new exhibition at Sims Reed Gallery, There Is Only Time. Rob has designed some of his largest and most exquisite work for this exhibition, which coincides with the launch of his latest book ‘The Invisible Kingdom’. Combining his signature delicate paper-cut artwork with whimsical poetry, the work on show will be truly awe-inspiring.

It may be grey and dreary outside but that hasn’t stopped the buzz in the air for Prince George’s christening today [Wednesday].
In celebration, I am delighted to unveil our very own special edition bouquet, The Prince George. Available for a limited time only, the gorgeous arrangement is made up of Quicksand roses, delicate white phlox, white snowberries, fluffy hydrangeas and ammi. I am also offering free delivery in London for one week, just enter code WILDLONDON at checkout.
I’ll be waiting avidly to see the first pictures of the young royal family on this special occasion and, of course, to see what fabulous outfit The Duchess Of Cambridge will be wearing. Oh, how I love a national celebration; it’s when London is at its best!
After a week of tastings galore taking place across the country, Chocolate Week sadly came to an end at the weekend.
The grand finale to Chocolate Week was the world renowned Salon du Chocolat Chocolate Fashion Show, coming to London for the very first time. That’s right – a Chocolate Fashion Show.
Master chocolatiers had collaborated with fashion designers to create stunning couture outfits made from and inspired by chocolate.
The fashion show was truly unbelievable! From chocolate dresses, show-stopping headpieces to a bikini and wedding dress featuring a chocolate flower bouquet – it was all simply fabulous.
My favourites were the collaborations between master chocolatier Marc Demarquette and award-winning English heritage milliner Vivien Sheriff.
Artisan du Chocolat and wedding dress designer Sabina Motasem transformed her ‘Alaya’ dress with white, caramel and dark chocolate with embellished chocolate pearls and sugar diamonds, accessorised with a Kelly Spence tulle veil trimmed with intricate chocolate lace. The finishing touch was a flower bouquet made out of chocolate – amazing!
Then finally the wonderful creation between Lindt Excellence and chocolate artist Paul Wayne Gregory and Graduate Fashion Week 2013 winner Lauren Smith, who joined forces for the ‘Eternal Diamond’ dress.
All this talk of chocolate has made me very excited about our very own chocolate collaboration with the wonderful Melt Chocolate. Just thinking about the tasting sessions (for research purposes of course), I already feel in chocolate heaven.
