We absolutely adore Valentine’s Day and Nikki has been busy choosing some of her favourite roses to make sure that our Valentine’s bouquets are the best in the country. When these arrived in our Pimlico store, we love roses so much we couldn’t resist taking a few images, we only wish we could capture the aroma too – the scent of the Augusta Louise is completely divine!
The sensual nude tones of these roses create something very special for Valentine’s Day, a beautiful and delicate alternative to passionate red.
The White O’Hara has a gorgeous peachy pink hue which reminds us of swirling petticoats!
The Red Piano is a classic garden rose – filled to bursting with beautiful petals!
This is the Pink Piano, just as gorgeous but with a dash of hot pink fun!
The Augusta Louise is completely fabulous to look at and is just as deliciously scented.
This is The Baroness, a slightly looser and more delicate garden rose in vibrant hot pink.
And finally, the absolute classic red rose – long stemmed with a stunning head of passionate velvety petals, who wouldn’t swoon at a dozen of these!

The shop was transformed into a bright summer’s day yesterday for a fashion shoot, unfortunately we couldn’t do much about the temperature outside and full marks go to the gorgeous model for smiling through the freezing conditions!
Proof that models do eat!

We love it when we know a bride will be arriving at our Pimlico store, because Nikki usually puts together a sample of what they’ve discussed, and we get to see the results!
Nikki always uses the most beautiful crystal and the soft candlelight creates such a special atmosphere…

Jacinta and Simone have just sent in these great pictures of the flower class that they enjoyed on Saturday at our Pimlico store.
It was a birthday present to Simone and she has sent us this lovely email…
Thank you so much for the class on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it
and think it was the best birthday present ever (the cookies and
chocolate brownies were delicious!).
As promised, please find attached the photos I took during the session
- not too bad considering they were done on a phone!
We always enjoy getting pictures in and taken on a phone or not – we think that they’re brilliant!
Ruth – who takes our flower classes, wants to add that it was a pleasure to work with this pair of lovely ladies! x

As it’s January and we’re having our annual clear out we’ve been rummaging through our images from last year and found some pictures of the Vogue Fashion Night Out that didn’t make it onto the blog because we were busy refurbishing our website, and we thought it would be a terrible shame not to see all the glamorous girls and boys that rocked up to our Liberty concession for a Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart Corsage!
There was quite a lot of excitement on the night, and the corsage queue stretched so far into the shop we were allocated our own security guard!
Keeping with the Hawaiian theme, we began the evening by attaching beautiful cymbidium orchids.
They were so popular however, that in an hour and a half we’d run out – which meant that we’d tied 200 corsages by 7.30pm and the night had only just begun! We didn’t want to let anyone down – so (the ever resourceful) Nikki started making corsages out of the other flowers that we had available that night – more British Seasonal than Hawaiian but they still looked super glam and the queues just got bigger!
In all we put together just over 500 corsages and the queue was still forming when Liberty was closing it’s doors!
Thank you everyone for joining in the fun – we like to think we were a small part in 500 very glamorous evenings out that night!

After all the fabulous parties, It’s time to sit back and reflect on the year gone by and think about the changes we’d like to bring to our lives.
We’ve always taken inspiration from the incredible Tom Ford and thought we’d bring you this wonderfully personal documentary – at the beginning he speaks about the decision to turn his back on the relentless pressures of creating collection after collection for the major design houses and the realisation of a growing void in his life. Now infinitely happier and forging ahead, maybe it’s not just his amazing aesthetic abilities that we should be inspired by…
