Last week saw the debut of Channel 4 documentary, Liberty of London. Taking us inside the historic building and behind-the-scenes of their run up to Christmas, rave reviews have followed the first episode.
My lovely Astrid has become somewhat of a TV star since appearing opening the doors to my Wild at Heart Liberty shop. She tells me: ‘My clients haven’t stopped talking about it. Who knew opening the Wild at Heart doors would create such excitement?! I love it!’.
Liberty of London is full of magic, joy and luxury; the perfect Monday evening remedy during the run-up to Christmas. I adore seeing my beautiful shop and flowers on screen and I can’t wait to see more of the fabulous Astrid doing what she does best!
If you love Liberty as much as I do, then you will fall head-over-heels for my Liberty Christmas Bouquetwhich is available online and in-store. An opulent selection of seasonal flowers made up of anemones, tulips, Memory Lane roses and silver wax.

To celebrate the festive season I am delighted to unveil our Winter and Christmas Bouquets. The Winter Bouquet is a vision of a winter wonderland with white roses, white anemone, grey eucalyptus pods and silver senecio foliage. Our Christmas Bouquet is a festive and luxurious mix of red piano roses, red anemone, blue pine and pine cones. Both bouquets are available in-store and online for nationwide delivery.
Instead of heading to the big shopping centres this coming Saturday, why not take a wander down to your local high street and enjoy some Christmas shopping in the small shops that surround you. Stop for a coffee and a piece of cake in your local bakery and purchase some quirky stocking-fillers from the little boutique corner-shop.
Saturday 7th December sees Britain celebrating National Shopkeepers Day where residents are encouraged to support their local businesses. Supported by American Express and O2, the national ‘Small Business Saturday’ campaign will be broadcast across Facebook and Twitter, sharing information, good ideas, success stories and photos.
I’ve always been a firm believer in supporting the local community – it really is the heart of your home. I buy food from the local farm or grocer, bread from the bakers and use my local post office. It’s amazing what fabulous treasures you also find when shopping in your high street!
In support of this day, my three shops will be offering 10% off all orders in-store and free delivery in London. Tell your neighbours, bring your family (even your pets!) and unite as a community to support this fabulous day.
Yesterday I was back up another 20ft Christmas tree (I think I’m starting to get vertigo!) decorating it for the fabulous London Edition Hotel.
I have been working with architecture Pernilla Ohrstedt on this Christmas project and it’s been absolute pleasure. Pernilla has worked on many world-wide designs including the Ring Dome in New York and Milan, the Future Memory Pavilion in Singapore and the Beatbox for Coco-Cola in the Olympic Park, London. Have a look at more of her work here.
The brief we had from hotelier Ian Schrager was: ‘Traditional with a modern twist’. I’d expect nothing less from you, darling!
I sourced an old-fashioned and traditional pine tree; I wanted it to reflect a tree you’d find growing deep in a forest. Traditional Christmas decorations were kept under-wraps for this one and instead, I had bright white neon stars designed to cover the tree.
I’m absolutely delighted with the finished design. It’s traditional meets modern art at its best. The stars are simply mesmarising!
PS. If you haven’t done so yet, you must must visit this fabulous hotel. And of course admire all my beautiful flowers!
London was all but quiet on Saturday as Poppy Delevingne and her close friends hit the town to celebrate her upcoming wedding to partner James Cook.
Joined by her celebrity friends including Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller, Laura Bailey and sister Cara, the retro-themed hen party began at The Ivy for scrumptious cupcakes and champagne. Manicures and make-up followed in the penthouse at the Edition Hotel before the party headed over to Soho’s, Groucho Club.
Of course, no party is complete without the Nikki Tibbles touch and Poppy had asked me to provide flowers for the special occasion. Sumptuous arrangements of mixed pink roses and hydrangeas filled the penthouse and decorated the Groucho. Simeon Farrar of Black Score had also specially designed t-shirts made for the ladies; you must check out his creations, they are so much fun!
The night ended back in the amazing Edition Hotel for cocktails and dancing where the party was joined by a few extra party-goers… in the shape of cardboard cut-outs of Poppy and James! A deterrent for waiting photographers, perhaps?!
Fabulous flowers, gorgeous t-shirts and divine cocktails. What more could a girl want!
Festive punch and canapés were flowing as awards were handed out to fabulous and inspirational women including Alice Temperley, Mary Berry and Laura Mvula.
Twelve ‘Red Hot Women’ in total left with a luxurious goodie bag and a heavenly bouquet made up of mixed red roses, exclusively designed by us.
Before rushing off to the British Fashion Awards, I caught a quick chat with the talented Alice Temperley. The fashion designer looked so effortlessly glam in her black lace dress and gushed about her award and how much she adored my flowers.
Thank you, darling. An award totally deserved too!
Christmas has definitely begun at Wild at Heart! My shops have been decorated in festive cheer and Michael Bublé has been on repeat in our head office today (the team’s choice I must add!).
Yesterday, Pimlico Road and the Island opened their doors for customers and celebrated the first day of advent by giving customers 10% off Christmas orders in-store. My Pimlico Road shop even had a special visitor in the shape of Santa’s reindeer, thanks to Belgravia Christmas Sunday.

If I had my way the whole world would be a vision of florals. Fields of sunflowers, gardens full of roses and brightly decorated homes and buildings. Just imagine what a pretty sight it would be when you wake up every morning.
I’m always thrilled when I see new inspiration and Net-a-Porters collection, In Bloom, transported me in to a floral daze.
Amongst all the sparkly Christmas trees and festive decorations which have surrounded me this week, scrolling through this fabulous collection took me back-to-basics and flooded my mind with simple, pretty flowers. (Admittedly, it may have also helped me write my wish-list to Father Christmas this year!)
Isn’t it gorgeous? I’ll leave you to enjoy; I need to rush as an 18ft Christmas tree in the centre of London awaits…
On Sunday 1st December, Pimlico Road and Elizabeth Street will be transformed in to a winter wonderland. Belgravia will come alive with festival joy as boutique markets and Christmas craft stalls will attract friends and families to one of London’s best loved villages.
The area will be thriving with carol singers, brass bands and balloon modellers, while Father Christmas and his reindeers will be jingling their way through two of Belgravia’s most beautiful streets.
If you hadn’t guessed already, I love Christmas! My Pimlico Road shop will be twinkling like the stars on Sunday and to celebrate this fabulously fun day, I will be giving customers 10% off their Christmas orders in-store for one day only. Come and say hello to my wonderful team and explore the beauty of all our fabulous Christmas floral treats, gifts and ideas.
